Raúl Petraglia has spent close to four decades in luxury hospitality across Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America, in openings, remodelings, repositionings, operations and consulting. He developed the original concept, became a brand team member and Area VP for the Americas for the ME by Meliá brand; played a key role in the original Paradisus in Cozumel; and contributed to the pre-opening of Gran Meliá Caracas. With Grupo Xcaret, he contributed to a twelve-year master plan for the hotel division and on the concept and brand creation for Hotel Xcaret México, which earned the AAA Five Diamond Award and Earth Check Gold in its first year of operation. He was also instrumental in the concept of Muluc Spa and the original phase of La Casa de La Playa.

He now advises wellness projects, helping hotels, residences and developments integrate analog wellness, advanced wellness, regenerative and longevity layers. There is no single route to longevity. Each property has its own, drawn from where it stands, and the spectrum runs from services delivered with licensed clinical partners through to practices held in a traditional lineage. He is also the creator of BREATH®?, his program of conscious movement and breathwork for executives based on years of yoga and meditation practice, which is why he can read both ends of it: what a clinical partner must be licensed to deliver, and whether a teacher in a lineage is effective. Few people can judge both, and that judgment is what separates an offer that presents well from one that earns.
