At the heart of my practice is 26 years of expertise in the field of Interventional Radilogy. My expertise in minimally invasive image-guided surgery includes endovascular surgical treatment of vascular disease, neuro interventional vascular and nonvascular disease diagnosis and treatment, and cross-sectional interventional surgery of the body.
Ive used my Interventional Radiology training to develop the field of Interventional Oncology starting in 1999. I pioneered tumor ablation having performed the worlds first renal cancer cryoablation in a surgical MRI, the worlds first lung cancer radiofrequency ablation, and the worlds first MRI cryoablation of uterine cancer. My Interventional Oncology practice uses advanced technology, cutting-edge interventional techniques, and the newest pharmacological agents to treat difficult cancer cases.
In the last 8 years, Ive worked on the conception, development, and application of new gene therapies for the treatment of various diseases and illnesses that have no known treatment. I believe that gene therapy holds the potential for the next major breakthrough in cancer treatment, and possibly a cure for some types of cancer.
Care gaps and unmet patient needs in my Interventional, Oncology and Gene therapy practice led me to the field of regenerative medicine. In 2009 I began using stem cells to treat non healing osteomyelitis in diabetic limbs facing amputation. Ive since used stem cells, PRP, and peptides to treat various musculoskeletal diseases, repair nerves, reverse organ damage, and restore organ function in my cancer and non cancer patients.
Now I am pioneering gene therapies not only for the treatment of cancer, but for living a healthier life longer, a longer life, and an enhanced life with less suffering, pain and illness.
My current practice offers gene therapies that are therapeutically impactful to most cancers providing a new potential therapy for so called “ untreatable” cancers that have exhausted all known therapies, as well as an option to add my anticancer gene therapy to enhance existing therapies to achieve a cure.
