Dr. Ivandro Soares Monteiro is a Clinical and Organizational Psychologist, with a PhD from the University of Minho, with an advanced specialization in Psychotherapy and a Certificate of Achievement (from the University of Memphis, USA). He is a certified Psychotherapist (Level E from IIPI International Interpersonal Psychotherapy Institute, USA), a recognized member of IIPI and ISIPT (International Society for Interpersonal Psychotherapy, USA) and a certified Psychological Coach (Member of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, UK). He has been working daily since 2000, with individuals and corporations, giving corporate lectures and more than 25,000 individual consultations/sessions with his clients, in person and online, in Portugal and internationally. He is the Founder and General Director of the medical and mental health clinic EME SAUDE in Porto, PT, Associate Partner and Head of the Behavioural Consultancy Unit at CROWE Portugal, and founder of API Academy of Interpersonal Psychotherapy, training psychologists and psychiatrists since 2009. He has been a University Professor at ICBAS (Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences) since 2010 (and previously at the University of Maia from 2001 to 2013), as well as a clinical consultant (since 2011) at world-leading clinical trials companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
