Fabrício Campos currently serves as Pro-Rector for Innovation at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), Director of CRITT/UFJF (Regional Center for Innovation and Technology Transfer), President of the Juiz de Fora Science and Technology Park (CIPCTJF), Vice-President Director of the Minas Gerais Innovation Network (RMI), and Associate Professor IV at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF).

He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from COPPE/UFRJ – Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2013), a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2007), an MBA specialization in IT Project Management from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2012), a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2004), a Technical Diploma in Electrotechnics from the University Technical College (1999), and advanced studies in English from the Brazil–United States Cultural Association (1999).

He has accumulated 20 years of experience in technological development, innovative extension activities, and technology transfer through his work at CRITT/UFJF and in collaboration with industry. He has participated in the development of products based on digital systems, earning recognition through several national and international innovation awards, including distinctions from Texas University (Best Innovative Product Idea), Intel (Embedded Systems), ABENGE (Innovative Product), CREA-MG (Technology Fair Product Award), SEBRAE (Innovative Product), Siemens (Technological Innovation), and ANPROTEC (Best Innovative Product).

His expertise lies in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on Industrial Electronics, Telecommunications, and Electronic Control Systems. His main research and development interests include OFDM, Data Transmission over Power Lines (PLC), and Signal Processing.

He is widely recognized for his leadership, organization, and management of technological development projects, particularly those conducted in partnership with industry. He has coordinated projects funded by major Brazilian research and innovation agencies, including CNPq, FINEP, and FAPEMIG.

Fabrício Campos is a registered professional engineer with CREA-MG, a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
