Apple is reportedly working on a major revamp of its Health app, with one standout feature on the horizon: an AI health coach designed to help users improve their well-being through personalized, data-driven guidance.
According to Bloomberg?s Mark Gurman, the new functionality?internally referred to as Health+?is already deep in development and could debut as early as spring or summer of 2026, alongside the release of iOS 19.4.
This AI coach would tap into data collected from users’ Apple Watches, iPhones, and other connected health devices. It?s expected to offer actionable recommendations, including food tracking, based on real-time user metrics. Apple is reportedly training the AI with input from in-house physicians, and plans to expand this training with a wider pool of medical professionals contributing to video-based health content.
The move reflects Apple?s broader push into personalized health and wellness, blending AI and biometrics in a way that could redefine digital coaching.
If successful, Health+ could position Apple as a leader in the next generation of AI-driven preventive care, raising the bar for tech-integrated health ecosystems.
